Elevit Pronatal is a prenatal vitamin-and-mineral medicine formulated for women before conception, throughout pregnancy and during breastfeeding when advised. Its 800 mcg folic-acid dose supports early fetal neural-tube development; it complements, but does not replace, antenatal care and individualized medical advice.

Therapeutic role:
• Folic acid supports maternal tissue growth and reduces neural-tube-defect risk when used appropriately around conception.
• Iron supports haemoglobin and red-blood-cell formation.
• Provides vitamins and minerals relevant to pregnancy nutrition.

Ingredients / active composition:
Per tablet: vitamin A 1,080 mcg (3,600 IU); B1 1.6 mg; B2 1.8 mg; B6 2.6 mg; B12 4 mcg; vitamin C 100 mg; vitamin D3 12.5 mcg (500 IU); vitamin E 15 mg; biotin 200 mcg; pantothenic acid 10 mg; folic acid 0.8 mg; nicotinamide 19 mg; calcium 125 mg; magnesium 100 mg; phosphorus 125 mg; iron 60 mg; copper 1 mg; manganese 1 mg; zinc 7.5 mg. Contains lactose.

Recommended use:
Take one tablet daily with water, preferably with a meal. If morning nausea occurs, take at midday or evening. Use before, during and after pregnancy only in line with the leaflet and maternity-care advice.

Important warnings:
Do not combine with other prenatal/multivitamin, vitamin A/D, folic acid or iron products unless prescribed. Contains a high iron dose and lactose. Keep away from children; iron overdose is dangerous. Seek advice with kidney/liver disease, iron overload, thyroid medicine or retinoids. Separate from levothyroxine and some antibiotics as directed.
