Hi Dee is an oral vitamin D3 medicine containing cholecalciferol 5,000 IU per capsule. It is used under medical direction to prevent or treat vitamin-D deficiency and support normal calcium and bone metabolism. The prescriber selects the regimen according to the indication and the patient's vitamin-D status.

Therapeutic role:
• Replaces vitamin D when deficiency, increased need or a treatment regimen has been identified.
• Supports normal calcium and phosphorus absorption.
• Contributes to normal bones, teeth and muscle function.

Ingredients / active composition:
Each capsule contains cholecalciferol (vitamin D3) 5,000 IU, equivalent to 125 mcg.

Recommended use:
Use exactly as prescribed or stated in the approved leaflet; the dose and duration depend on the indication, blood 25(OH)D level and clinical response. Swallow whole with water, preferably with the main meal.

Important warnings:
Do not self-adjust the dose or combine it with other vitamin-D or calcium products without medical advice. Tell the prescriber about kidney disease or stones, high calcium, sarcoidosis, hyperparathyroidism, digoxin, thiazide diuretics, pregnancy, breastfeeding and all regular medicines. Symptoms such as persistent nausea, constipation, intense thirst, frequent urination, weakness or confusion may indicate high calcium and need prompt review. Keep out of reach of children.
