Humalog Kwikpen Pre-Filled Pen 100 I.U contains rapid-acting insulin lispro for people with diabetes who require insulin to control blood glucose around meals. The prescribed dose is individualized in units according to glucose readings, meals and the treatment plan.

Active ingredients: Insulin lispro 100 units/mL; each 3 mL KwikPen contains 300 units.

How to use: Inject the prescribed units subcutaneously shortly before a meal, or soon after if directed. The solution must be clear and colourless; do not use it if cloudy or containing particles. Rotate injection sites, never share the pen and use a new needle each time. Intravenous use is for healthcare professionals only.

Important: Hypoglycaemia can be severe. Confirm the insulin name and dose before every injection, monitor glucose as directed and coordinate dosing with meals.
