Humalog Mix25 Kwikpen Pre-Filled Pen 100 I.U is a premixed insulin analogue for people with diabetes who require insulin. It combines a rapid component for mealtime glucose with a protamine-suspended component that lasts longer; the dose is individualized in units.

Active ingredients: Insulin lispro 100 units/mL: 25% soluble insulin lispro and 75% insulin lispro protamine suspension; each 3 mL KwikPen contains 300 units.

How to use: Inject subcutaneously within 15 minutes before a meal, or soon after if specifically directed, using the prescribed units. Before each injection, roll the pen 10 times and invert it 10 times until uniformly cloudy; do not shake. Rotate injection sites. Never inject intravenously, never share the pen and use a new needle each time.

Important: Hypoglycaemia can be severe. Check the label and dose before every injection, monitor glucose as directed and follow the prescribed meal plan.
