Hydrocort Cream 1 % contains hydrocortisone acetate 1%, a mild topical corticosteroid for short-term relief of inflammation and itching in steroid-responsive skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis and insect-bite reactions when infection is absent.

How to use: Apply a thin layer sparingly to clean affected skin once or twice daily for up to seven days unless directed otherwise. Wash hands after use and avoid the eyes, face, broken or infected skin and tight dressings.

Important safety information: Short-term use may cause mild burning, stinging, dryness or irritation. Prolonged, extensive or occluded use can cause skin thinning, stretch marks, colour change, infection or systemic corticosteroid effects.
