Binosto Effervescent Tablet 70 Mg is a once-weekly effervescent bisphosphonate medicine used to treat osteoporosis in postmenopausal women and in men when prescribed, helping reduce fracture risk as part of an appropriate bone-health plan.

Active ingredients: Alendronate 70 mg per effervescent tablet, as alendronate sodium trihydrate.

How to use: On the chosen weekly morning, immediately after getting up and before food, drink or other medicines, dissolve one tablet in about 120 mL of plain room-temperature water. Wait at least 5 minutes after bubbling stops, stir for about 10 seconds and drink. Remain sitting or standing for at least 30 minutes and until after the first food of the day. Do not swallow, chew or suck the tablet.

Important: Do not take at bedtime or before getting up. It is unsuitable for certain oesophageal disorders, inability to remain upright, low calcium or severe kidney impairment.
