A three-component blood-pressure medicine combining an angiotensin II receptor blocker, a calcium-channel blocker and a thiazide diuretic for patients whose hypertension requires this fixed combination.

Helps lower and control high blood pressure when this fixed three-medicine combination is medically selected; it is not suitable for self-selection.

• 28 film-coated tablets.
• Each tablet: olmesartan medoxomil 20 mg, amlodipine 5 mg and hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg.
• Fixed-dose treatment for hypertension; not for self-selection or dose swapping.

Ingredients / composition:
Active ingredients per tablet: olmesartan medoxomil 20 mg, amlodipine 5 mg (as amlodipine besilate), hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg. Tablet-core excipients: pregelatinized corn starch, croscarmellose sodium, microcrystalline cellulose and magnesium stearate. Film coat includes polyvinyl alcohol, polyethylene glycol/macrogol, titanium dioxide and talc; iron oxide colour may vary by strength. Check the local leaflet.

Recommended use:
Take 1 tablet once daily at the same time, with or without food, exactly as directed. Swallow with water. Avoid grapefruit/grapefruit juice unless the healthcare professional specifically says otherwise. If a dose is missed, take the next normal dose; do not double.

Warnings and disclaimer:
Can cause dizziness, low blood pressure, ankle swelling, headache, increased urination and changes in kidney function, sodium, potassium, uric acid or glucose. Monitoring is important. Seek urgent care for facial/throat swelling, fainting, severe breathing difficulty, sudden eye pain/vision change or severe persistent diarrhea/weight loss. Tell the doctor about kidney/liver/heart disease, diabetes, gout, lupus, dehydration and all medicines including other blood-pressure drugs, lithium, NSAIDs and potassium products. Avoid in pregnancy; especially contraindicated after the first trimester. Hydrochlorothiazide increases sun sensitivity—use sun protection and report suspicious skin changes.
