Dayvigo 5 mg contains lemborexant, a prescription orexin-receptor antagonist for adults with insomnia characterised by difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep or both.

Active ingredient:
Each film-coated tablet contains lemborexant 5 mg as the active ingredient.

Directions:
Take one 5 mg tablet no more than once per night, immediately before bed, only when at least 7 hours remain before planned awakening. Use exactly as prescribed. It may take longer to work if taken with or soon after a meal.

Important precautions:
Do not use with narcolepsy. It can cause next-day sleepiness, impaired alertness, sleep paralysis, hallucinations and complex sleep behaviours. Avoid alcohol and other sedatives unless approved. Stop and contact the prescriber for sleep-driving or other activity while not fully awake, worsening depression or suicidal thoughts.
