Dostinex 0.5mg Tablets 8's is a dopamine agonist that lowers prolactin for hyperprolactinaemic disorders and, when medically indicated, suppression or prevention of lactation.

Ingredients and Composition: Each tablet contains cabergoline 0.5 mg.

Directions for Use: Dose and schedule are individualised; hyperprolactinaemia is commonly treated with a weekly regimen divided as directed. Take with food to improve tolerability. Specialist monitoring is required, and the regimen should not be changed or stopped independently.

Safety Information: Nausea, headache, dizziness, postural hypotension and sleepiness may occur. Impulse-control or psychiatric effects are possible. Long-term treatment carries a risk of valvular or fibrotic disease and may require echocardiographic monitoring. It is unsuitable with uncontrolled hypertension or relevant fibrotic disorders.
