Tekliva 40 micrograms/ml Eye Drops 2.5 ml contains travoprost, a prostaglandin analogue that lowers raised pressure inside the eye in open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. It helps fluid drain from the eye and is used as part of an ophthalmologist-directed treatment plan.

Main ingredients: Travoprost 40 micrograms per ml, equivalent to 0.004%. Bottle volume: 2.5 ml.

How to use: Use the dose directed by your ophthalmologist. The usual travoprost dose is one drop in the affected eye once daily, preferably in the evening. Wash hands, avoid touching the dropper tip and gently close the eye after application. Separate other eye drops by at least five minutes. Do not double a missed dose.

Precautions: For use in the eye only. May cause redness, temporary blurred vision, darker iris colour or eyelash changes. Wait until vision clears before driving. Discuss pregnancy, breastfeeding, contact lenses and other eye treatments with your ophthalmologist. Do not stop treatment without advice.
