Candizol Oral Gel 2% 40g is a 2% miconazole oral antifungal gel for oral and throat candidiasis. Ingredients: Miconazole 20 mg per gram of oral gel (2% w/w), supplied in a 40 g tube. Directions: Adults and children aged 2 years and over: apply 2.5 mL four times daily after meals. Infants aged 4–24 months: 1.25 mL four times daily in small portions at the front of the mouth. Keep the gel in the mouth as long as possible before swallowing and continue for 7 days after symptoms resolve. Important safety information: Do not place the full dose at the back of an infant’s throat because of choking risk. Do not use below 4 months or with impaired swallowing. Miconazole has clinically important interactions, particularly with warfarin and some other medicines.
