Cetrotide 0.25 mg Powder and Solvent for Injection is a gonadotropin-releasing hormone antagonist used during controlled ovarian stimulation to prevent a premature luteinising-hormone surge. Its confirmed composition is Cetrorelix 0.25 mg, supplied as cetrorelix acetate, with solvent for subcutaneous injection.

Inject 0.25 mg subcutaneously once daily during the stimulation days specified by the fertility clinic, keeping the interval close to 24 hours. The start day and final dose are linked to follicle monitoring and trigger timing; do not interrupt or reschedule it independently.

Injection-site redness, itching or swelling, headache, nausea or abdominal discomfort may occur. Seek urgent care for widespread rash, facial swelling, breathing difficulty or signs of ovarian hyperstimulation such as severe abdominal swelling, rapid weight gain or reduced urine.
