Cito Ferrum is a 30-capsule liposomal iron formula providing 30 mg iron together with vitamin C and vitamin B12. Iron supports normal haemoglobin, oxygen transport and reduction of tiredness when intake is inadequate; vitamin C supports iron absorption and B12 supports normal red blood cell formation. Iron status should ideally be assessed before prolonged use.

Ingredients and composition: Each capsule provides: Ferric pyrophosphate mixture 357 mg (with maize starch and lecithin), equivalent to iron 30 mg; vitamin C 80 mg (L-ascorbic acid); vitamin B12 2.5 µg (from cyanocobalamin 1%).

Recommended use: Take 1 capsule daily with water, preferably as directed by a healthcare professional. If stomach upset occurs, take with food. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Important warnings: May cause nausea, abdominal discomfort, constipation, diarrhoea or dark stools. Keep away from children because iron overdose is dangerous. Consult before use with iron-overload disorders, unexplained anaemia, chronic disease or other iron products. Separate from levothyroxine and certain antibiotics as directed by a pharmacist.
