Dulcolax 5mg Coated Tablets 40's is a stimulant laxative for short-term relief of occasional constipation.

Ingredients and Composition: Each gastro-resistant coated tablet contains bisacodyl 5 mg.

Directions for Use: Adults and children over 10 years: take 1–2 tablets once in the evening. Children aged 2–10 years: one tablet once in the evening, on medical advice. Start with the lowest effective dose and swallow the tablet whole with adequate fluid. Do not take at the same time as milk, antacids or proton-pump inhibitors. Use only short term; recurrent or persistent constipation requires assessment.

Safety Information: Abdominal cramps or pain, diarrhoea and nausea may occur. Do not use below 2 years of age or in intestinal obstruction, ileus, acute abdominal conditions or severe dehydration. Prolonged or excessive use may cause fluid and electrolyte imbalance and laxative dependence.
