Imavir Eye Ointment is an antiviral eye ointment used for susceptible viral eye infection under professional supervision. Its composition includes Acyclovir 3% w/w (30 mg/g) eye ointment.

Wash the hands and place an approximately 1 cm ribbon inside the lower eyelid five times daily at about four-hour intervals. Avoid touching the tube tip to the eye, continue for at least three days after healing and do not wear contact lenses during infection.

Temporary stinging, mild eye irritation, watery eyes or blurred vision may occur. Seek urgent care for severe pain, swelling or sudden vision change. Seek medical or pharmaceutical advice if symptoms are severe, persistent or worsening.
