Merional HG 150 IU Powder and Solvent for Injection is a menotrophin fertility injection providing follicle-stimulating and luteinising hormone activity for controlled ovarian stimulation and selected male infertility treatment. Its confirmed composition is Highly purified menotrophin 150 IU with follicle-stimulating and luteinising hormone activity, supplied as powder and solvent for injection.

After reconstitution, inject by the subcutaneous or intramuscular route selected by the fertility clinic. The starting dose and every adjustment are individualized from ultrasound and hormone monitoring; do not change the dose or timing independently and discard unused reconstituted solution unless the product is specifically multidose.

Injection-site reaction, headache, abdominal discomfort, nausea, bloating or ovarian enlargement may occur. Urgent assessment is required for severe abdominal pain or swelling, rapid weight gain, reduced urine, breathing difficulty, chest pain or leg swelling because these may indicate ovarian hyperstimulation or a blood clot. Seek medical or pharmaceutical advice if symptoms are severe, persistent or worsening.
