Mucosolvan Syrup 30mg/5ml 100ml is a mucolytic and expectorant for respiratory conditions with thick, difficult-to-clear mucus.

Ingredients and Composition: Each 5 mL contains ambroxol hydrochloride 30 mg.

Directions for Use: Measure the dose accurately. Ages 0–2 years: 1.25 mL twice daily only under medical supervision; ages 2–5 years: 1.25 mL three times daily; ages 6–12 years: 2.5 mL three times daily; over 12 years: 5 mL three times daily for the first 2–3 days, then 5 mL twice daily. Maintain adequate fluid intake and do not use for longer than 14 days without assessment.

Safety Information: Nausea, altered taste, numbness of the mouth or throat, abdominal discomfort and diarrhoea may occur. Severe allergy and serious skin reactions are rare; stop at once if rash or mucosal lesions develop. Do not combine with a cough suppressant unless professionally advised.
