PROfertil Inositol is a berry-flavoured powder supplement developed for women with PCOS, with or without a current wish to conceive. Each stick combines 2,000 mg myo-inositol with vitamin B6 and 200 µg total folate, including Quatrefolic. It provides convenient hormonal and preconception nutritional support but is not a fertility treatment and does not guarantee pregnancy.

Ingredients and composition: Each stick provides: Myo-inositol 2,000 mg; vitamin B6 2 mg (from 2.72 mg pyridoxine HCl); total folic acid/folate 200 µg, comprising folic acid 150 µg plus Quatrefolic folate 50 µg.

Recommended use: Take 1–2 sticks daily. Pour directly into the mouth, allow the powder to dissolve slowly, then swallow; it may also be mixed with water. It can be taken with or without food. Women actively trying to conceive may use 2 sticks daily; do not exceed 2 sticks per day.

Important warnings: May cause nausea, gas, abdominal discomfort, diarrhoea, headache or dizziness. Discuss use with a fertility clinician if taking metformin, hormone treatment or fertility medicines. Do not exceed the stated dose. Once pregnancy is confirmed, ask the treating clinician whether to continue and ensure an appropriate prenatal supplement.
