Rovasta 10 mg Film Coated Tablets 30 Tablets is a rosuvastatin medicine used to manage high cholesterol and mixed dyslipidaemia as an adjunct to diet. It may also be used to reduce the risk of major cardiovascular events in suitable high-risk patients.

Main ingredients: Rosuvastatin calcium equivalent to 10 mg rosuvastatin per film-coated tablet.

How to use: Take exactly as directed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with water once daily, at any time of day, with or without food. Taking it at the same time each day may help with adherence. If a dose is missed, take the next scheduled dose; do not take a double dose.

Important information: Use under medical supervision. Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Tell the doctor about liver, kidney, thyroid or muscle problems and all other medicines, especially ciclosporin, systemic fusidic acid, fibrates and certain antiviral medicines. Seek prompt medical advice for unexplained muscle pain or weakness, particularly with fever or malaise, or for a severe allergic or skin reaction. Do not stop treatment without medical advice.
