Tanac Mouth Sores Fluid is a topical oral anaesthetic fluid for short-term relief of pain from minor mouth sores. Its composition includes Benzocaine 10% in a topical oral fluid.

Use a clean applicator to place a very small amount directly on the painful sore without spreading it over healthy tissue. Do not swallow or use in children younger than two years; seek advice if repeated application is needed or symptoms persist.

Temporary numbness, stinging, irritation or allergy may occur. Rare but serious methaemoglobinaemia can cause pale or blue lips, headache, dizziness, breathlessness or unusual tiredness and requires urgent medical care. Seek medical or pharmaceutical advice if symptoms are severe, persistent or worsening.
