Remove one strip without touching the reagent pad and close the container immediately. Dip until the pad is fully wet, remove it immediately, blot the edge on absorbent paper and compare with the color chart within 1–2 minutes. Ignore color changes after 2 minutes. Record the result and discard the strip; do not reuse.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eImportant precautions:\u003cbr\u003e\nIn-vitro diagnostic use only; do not ingest. Moisture, heat, light, expired strips, wrong timing, old urine, medicines and color-vision limitations can affect results. A negative urine result does not exclude early ketone buildup because the strip primarily detects acetoacetate, not beta-hydroxybutyrate. For diabetes, moderate or high ketones, vomiting, abdominal pain, deep breathing, fruity breath, drowsiness or high glucose require urgent medical guidance; suspected diabetic ketoacidosis is an emergency. Store tightly closed at 15–30°C, away from direct sunlight and children.
