A once-daily medicated plaster containing diclofenac sodium for local, short-term relief of pain and inflammation after acute sprains, strains or bruises of the arms or legs in adults and adolescents aged 16 years and over.

Expected benefit:
Delivers diclofenac through the skin to the painful area for up to 24 hours, helping reduce local pain and inflammation while limiting systemic exposure compared with oral diclofenac.

Ingredients / composition:
Active ingredient per plaster: diclofenac sodium 140 mg. Other materials: polyester non-woven backing; polyacrylate dispersion, tributyl citrate and butylated hydroxyanisole (E320) in the adhesive layer; mono-silicone-coated paper protective liner.

Recommended use:
Adults and adolescents 16+: apply one plaster to one painful area once daily. Use on clean, dry, intact skin; remove the protective films and press until fully adhered. Do not cut, wear while bathing/showering or cover with an airtight dressing. Use the shortest time needed and no longer than 7 days; seek medical advice if pain worsens or persists.

Important precautions:
Do not use under 16 years, on damaged/infected skin, with an active stomach/duodenal ulcer, after an aspirin/NSAID-triggered asthma or allergy reaction, or in the final 3 months of pregnancy. Avoid eyes and mucosa. Do not use with other diclofenac or NSAID pain medicines unless a clinician approves. Ask a doctor for kidney, heart, liver, bowel or bleeding problems, asthma/allergies, pregnancy or breastfeeding. Common effects are local redness, burning, itching, eczema or rash; remove immediately and seek urgent help for facial swelling, breathing difficulty or widespread hives. Avoid sun/solarium on the treated area after removal.
