ENOXAMED® contains enoxaparin sodium, a low-molecular-weight heparin (LMWH) indicated for the prevention and treatment of thromboembolic disorders in adults, as prescribed by a physician.

Therapeutic Indications

ENOXAMED® is indicated for adult patients for:

Prevention of venous thromboembolism (VTE) in moderate to high-risk surgical patients, including orthopedic, general, abdominal, and cancer surgeries

Prevention of VTE in medical patients with acute illness and reduced mobility who are at increased risk of thrombosis

Treatment of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE), excluding cases requiring thrombolytic therapy or surgery

Extended treatment and prevention of recurrence of DVT and PE in patients with active cancer

Prevention of thrombus formation during hemodialysis in extracorporeal circulation

Acute coronary syndromes, including:

Unstable angina and non-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI) in combination with acetylsalicylic acid

ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), in medically managed patients or those undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
