Rabober contains rabeprazole sodium 20 mg, a proton-pump inhibitor that reduces stomach-acid production. It is prescribed for defined acid-related conditions such as reflux disease or peptic ulcer and may be used in combination regimens for Helicobacter pylori.

Active ingredient:
Each gastro-resistant tablet contains rabeprazole sodium 20 mg as the active ingredient.

Directions:
Use exactly as prescribed. For common once-daily regimens, take the tablet in the morning before food. Swallow whole with water; do not chew, crush or split. Treatment duration and any antibiotic combination depend on the diagnosis.

Important precautions:
Headache, diarrhoea and abdominal discomfort can occur. Long-term or repeated use may be associated with low magnesium or vitamin B12, fractures and intestinal infection. Seek assessment for trouble swallowing, weight loss, vomiting blood, black stools or persistent symptoms.
