Hartmann Insect Bite Healer applies brief, localised heat to help relieve itching, pain and swelling after mosquito bites. Three selectable programmes and a light around the treatment area make targeted application convenient.

Components: Ceramic heating plate, programme control and illumination. Operates with two AAA batteries. Relief is delivered by heat rather than a topical medicinal ingredient.

How to use: Clean the bite site and the device before use. Switch on, position the ceramic plate on the affected area and select a programme. Keep it in place until the completion signal. Start with programme 1 on first use to assess heat tolerance. Clean the device after use.

Precautions: Use only on intact skin. Do not continue if the heat is painful. People with reduced skin sensation should seek professional advice before use. This device does not treat a severe allergic reaction; breathing difficulty or swelling of the face or throat requires emergency care.
