Mounjaro is a prescription injection used with diet and exercise to help lower blood sugar in adults with type 2 diabetes. It is not known if Mounjaro is safe for people who have had pancreatitis. It is not for people with type 1 diabetes. The safety and effectiveness of Mounjaro in children under 18 are not known.

How To Use:

SUBQ injection into the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm. Injection Time: Any time of day on the same day each week, with or without food. Changing Administration Day: If necessary, allow ≥72 hours between 2 doses when changing the day of administration. Injection Site Rotation: Rotate injection sites with each dose. Mixing with Other Products: Do not mix with other injectable products (eg, insulin); administer as separate injections. Adjacent Injections: Avoid adjacent injections if administering other agents in the same area of the body. Solution Quality: Solution Appearance: Solution should be clear and colorless to slightly yellow. Check for Issues: Do not use if particulate matter or discoloration are seen. Device: Tirzepatide Device: Tirzepatide is a single-dose device that does not require priming before injection.
