Moxiclav 1 g Film Coated Tablets 14 Tablets is a combination penicillin antibiotic used for susceptible bacterial infections affecting the respiratory tract, ear, sinuses, urinary tract, skin, soft tissues or teeth. It does not treat viral infections.

Main ingredients: Each film-coated tablet contains 875 mg amoxicillin as amoxicillin trihydrate and 125 mg clavulanic acid as potassium clavulanate.

How to use: Take only in the dose and for the duration directed by your doctor. Swallow with water at the start of a meal and space doses evenly, at least 4 hours apart. Complete the full treatment course even if symptoms improve. Do not take two doses together and do not extend treatment beyond 14 days without medical review.

Important information: This antibiotic treats bacterial infections and does not treat colds or influenza. Do not use with a penicillin allergy, a previous severe reaction to another beta-lactam antibiotic, or a history of jaundice or liver problems caused by amoxicillin with clavulanic acid. Tell the doctor about kidney or liver disease and all medicines. Stop and seek urgent medical care for breathing difficulty, facial or throat swelling, a severe rash, or severe, persistent or bloody diarrhoea.
