Pangesic 50 mg/5 mL Suspension 120 mL is a mefenamic-acid suspension for short-term relief of pain and inflammation, with dosing based on age and body weight. Its confirmed composition is Mefenamic acid 50 mg per 5 mL oral suspension; 120 mL bottle.

Shake the bottle thoroughly and measure each dose with an oral syringe. The dose and interval must be calculated from body weight and the 50 mg/5 mL concentration; give with or after food, use for the shortest possible period and do not combine with another NSAID.

Stomach pain, nausea, diarrhoea, dizziness or rash may occur. Stop use and seek urgent care for black stools, vomiting blood, breathing difficulty, facial swelling or reduced urine. Seek medical, dental or pharmaceutical advice if symptoms are severe, persistent or worsening.
