Xonvea 20 mg/20 mg Modified Release Tablets comes in a pack of 30 tablets. It is used to relieve nausea and vomiting during pregnancy in women aged 18 years and over when dietary and lifestyle changes have not provided adequate relief. Each tablet combines doxylamine, an antihistamine, with pyridoxine, vitamin B6.

Main ingredients: Each modified release tablet contains 20 mg doxylamine hydrogen succinate and 20 mg pyridoxine hydrochloride.

How to use: Follow the treating healthcare professional's instructions. Take on an empty stomach with water and swallow the tablets whole. Do not crush, split or chew. Do not exceed two tablets daily. Consult the treating healthcare professional before stopping treatment; gradual dose reduction may be needed.

Precautions: May cause marked drowsiness. Do not drive, cycle, operate machinery or undertake activities requiring full alertness unless your doctor has advised that it is safe to do so. Avoid alcohol and consult a healthcare professional before combining with sedating medicines. Do not use with monoamine oxidase inhibitors, within 14 days of stopping them, or if you have porphyria. Do not use if allergic to either active ingredient or any other component. Inform the treating healthcare professional about glaucoma, breathing problems, urinary retention, liver or kidney disease, breastfeeding and all other medicines. Severe or persistent vomiting during pregnancy requires medical assessment.
