How to prepare Similac Advance Gold 2?
Wash hands & equipment: Follow the manufacturer's instructions to wash and sterilize all utensils. After 6 months of age, sterilization is not necessary for beakers, but ensure thorough cleaning. Boil the water: Boil 1 liter of fresh tap water (not bottled water) and let it cool for no more than 30 minutes. Avoid using artificially softened or repeatedly boiled water. Pour into the bottle: Carefully pour the appropriate amount of warm, previously boiled water into the sterilized feeding bottle. Measure out the powder: Use the enclosed scoop to measure the powder, leveling it with the back of a clean, dry knife. Avoid packing it down in the scoop. Add powder to water: Add one scoop of powder for each 30ml (1fl oz) of water. Only use the provided scoop, as using too many or too few scoops can be harmful. Cap bottle and shake: Securely cap the bottle and shake it until the powder is completely dissolved. Test the temperature: Remove the cap, attach a sterilized teat, and test the temperature (a few drops of formula should feel lukewarm on the inside of your wrist). If needed, cool the bottle under cold running water with the cap on. Feed the baby immediately.
